FInding Mona: A Double Adoption DNA Story

We regretfully have to cancel this month's bonus program. Our speaker is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. 
Finding Mona is an engaging double adoption tale filled with head-spinning twists and turns. 
It also demonstrates the many steps and skills it takes to solve complex DNA problems. There are insights and 'aha moments' for every experience level, beginner to advanced.
This presentation is a bonus program for our members. Not a member? Our dues are only $20 a year! 
Megan Lee is a genetic genealogist and educator.  She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, is a graduate of Excelsior College's Genetic Genealogy course, the Advanced Genetic Genealogy course at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh, and is an alumnus of the 18-month Professional Genealogy Study Group. She is also on the board of the Southern California Genealogical Society.

Sometimes the best way to learn about an ancestor's life is to dig into the mountain of paperwork created by his or her passing. Explore the suprisingly abundant information created when a death occured and discover just how much these can records can reveal about the story of an ancestor's life.
Pam Vestal is a Professional Genealogist, writer, and speaker from West Linn, Oregon. Her articles have appeared in the Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly and Federation of Genealogical Society's magazine, Forum. She lectures and presents workshop to genealogy organizations throughout the country. She is also the owner of Generations Genealogy, LLC.
